Jesus has given a set of gifts called the fivefold ministry to the Church for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry. Not everyone has been given these gifts, that is why Jesus said He gave “some” people these gifts, are you one of them?
Do you sense the call of God on your life for ministry and don’t know where you fit? You may know you are a fivefold ministry gift but are not currently functioning in your gift or your gift is dormant and you desire to be used by God?
Understanding these five gifts of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher will help you recognise these gifts and identify if you are called by God into one of these ministries. Jesus desires His Church to be a growing, healthy and functioning body, where every member is joined and fitted, using their gifts, and doing their share to edify and build up the Body.
As the full spectrum of the five-fold ministry is released in the Church the believers will all benefit as they will be in a balanced environment of growth, equipping, and maturity.
