We are all swimming in a sea of cultural values. These values are above, beneath, around and, even, within us. Unfortunately, modern western culture is becoming increasingly anti-Christian, rejecting the very foundations that made this culture great in the first place.

We Christians alone have the answer to the flaws in our culture. We have the great privilege and obligation of sharing this Good News with the world we live in – not just the people we meet but the culture itself.

Understanding the culture we live in is bewildering for many, however. How do Christians understand, let alone confront, the culture we live in? This course will

• provide attendees with the tools necessary to begin taking back the ground that has been lost to God’s Kingdom on earth,
• improve your familiarity with the Bible and how to use it effectively in your own life and sphere of influence,
• provide attendees with the confidence that their faith speaks to the complexities of the cultural morass, and
• begin training your mind to think Christianly about not just the people, but the world around us.

Come along and gain confidence in our God, the Bible, and your own ability to engage with the culture we live in.

This Banquet is aimed at an introductory level. No prior familiarity with this subject is necessary. It will run for 6 weeks.

David Lindsey has multiple degrees in politics, theology, geography and worldview studies, but is skilled in presenting information in an easy-to-understand way.
