The Gold Coast is the best place to live on earth, sadly it has some of the highest recorded rates of domestic violence in all of Australia.
Mate stands for; motivating action through empowerment. Over three nights we hope to empower you to be a voice in your sphere’s of influence. Equipping you with tools on how to offer help and support to those who need it, recognising abusive & controlling behaviour and ultimately be confident to stand against the evil that is domestic violence.
Its time we challenge the root attitudes, beliefs and behaviours that normalise harmful and abusive behaviour in our community.
