M.A.T.E Bystander Program

The Gold Coast is one of the best places to live, sadly it has some of the highest recorded rates of domestic violence in all of Australia.
M.A.T.E is an education and intervention program teaching us all to be leaders in the prevention of violence and problematic behaviour.
The bystander approach focuses not on the perpetrator or victim of violence rather, what we can all do to prevent violence in our homes, workplaces, schools and communities.
It’s time we challenge the root attitudes and beliefs that normalise harmful and abusive behaviour in our community.
Look forward to seeing you there.
