M.A.T.E is an education and intervention program teaching us all to be LEADERS in the prevention of violence and problematic behaviour.
The bystander approach focuses not on the perpetrator or victim of violence, rather what we can all do to PREVENT violence in our homes, workplaces, schools and communities. Whether you are aware or not this issue is not going away and the Gold Coast has some of the highest reports of domestic and family violence in all the country! It’s time we challenge the root attitudes and beliefs that normalise harmful and abusive behaviour in our community.
Over 4 weeks we will explore this topic using scripture to point to Gods design and intention for marriage and family relationship.
Look forward to seeing you there.
